Setup

1. Wall Mounting

The key box is designed for secure wall mounting. Ensure you choose a sturdy location capable of supporting the weight of the box and its contents.

1. Open the key box door to access the mounting holes on the back panel.
2. Hold the key box against the desired wall location and mark the positions for the top two mounting holes using a pencil.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked positions. If mounting into drywall, insert the provided wall anchors.
4. Align the key box with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided screws.
5. Mark the position for the bottom mounting hole and secure it to prevent movement.

2. Setting the Combination Lock

The combination lock can be set and managed via the WeHere app for convenience and security.

1. Download and install the "WeHere" app on your smartphone.
2. Open the app and scan the QR code located on the lock box to register your device.
3. Within the app, navigate to the password settings to generate a random combination code.
4. On the physical lock, dial the generated code to the correct position. The initial code is typically "000".
5. Locate the setting switch (usually a small lever or button) on the lock mechanism and move it from position A to B.
6. Scroll the lock dials to match the new code displayed in the app.
7. Move the setting switch back to position A to save the new password.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking the Key Box

• Using the Combination Lock: Dial the correct 3-digit combination to align with the indicator. Turn the knob or lever to open the door.
• Using the Mechanical Key: Insert one of the provided emergency keys into the keyhole and turn it to unlock the mechanism.
• Using the WeHere App: For models with advanced app features, you can retrieve the current combination or generate temporary access codes through the app.

Key Management with App (Mini ERP)

The WeHere app offers a "Mini ERP" function to help you manage your keys efficiently, reducing the chance of misplacing them.

1. In the WeHere app, access the "Mini ERP" section.
2. Enter the total number of key positions in your key box (e.g., 32).
3. When taking out a key, select the corresponding key number in the app. You can add comments or notes for tracking.
4. When returning a key, select the key number again to mark it as "saved" or "returned" in the app.
5. Key tags and hooks are designed to be rewritable, allowing you to label them with relevant information (e.g., "Office 101", "Basement").

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
• Lock Mechanism: Keep the combination dials and keyhole free from dust and debris. Do not apply oil or grease to the lock mechanism unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
• Mounting: Periodically check the wall mounting screws to ensure they remain tight and secure.
• Key Tags: The key tags are rewritable. Use a fine-point dry-erase marker for labeling and erase with a soft cloth or eraser.

Troubleshooting

• Forgotten Combination: If you forget your combination, use the WeHere app's password retrieval function. Ensure your device was registered with the app during initial setup. Alternatively, use one of the provided mechanical keys to open the box.
• Door Not Closing Properly:
  • Check if any keys or key fobs are obstructing the door's path. The design allows for ample space, but very bulky car keys might cause issues if not placed correctly.
  • Ensure the key box is mounted level and securely.
  • Verify that the magnetic closure points are clear of debris.
• Key Tags Difficult to Write On/Erase: Ensure you are using a dry-erase marker. If the surface is oily or dirty, clean it with a mild cleaner and dry thoroughly before writing.
