XWJNE Power Inverter User Manual

Model: XWJNE 2000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter

Brand: XWJNE

1. Introduction

The XWJNE 2000 Watt Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter is designed to convert 24V DC power from your battery to 110V/120V AC power, suitable for various applications including vehicles, RVs, homes, remote workplaces, and outdoor emergencies. With a true rated continuous power of 2000 watts and a peak power of 4000 watts, this inverter provides stable and efficient power for your electronic devices and appliances. Its pure sine wave output ensures compatibility with sensitive electronics, reducing conversion loss and providing clean power.

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation, setup, and maintenance of your XWJNE Power Inverter.

2. Safety Instructions

Please read and understand all safety instructions before installing or operating the inverter. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Proper Ventilation: Ensure the inverter is installed in a well-ventilated area. Do not block the cooling fans or vents.
  • Correct Voltage: Connect the inverter only to a 24V DC power source. Connecting to an incorrect voltage may damage the unit and connected devices.
  • Polarity: Always connect the positive (+) terminal of the inverter to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the negative (-) terminal of the inverter to the negative (-) terminal of the battery. Reverse polarity can cause severe damage.
  • Grounding: Properly ground the inverter using the provided body ground wire to prevent electrical hazards.
  • Overload Protection: Do not exceed the inverter's rated continuous power (2000W) or peak power (4000W). The inverter features overload protection, but consistent overloading can reduce its lifespan.
  • Temperature: The dual cooling fans activate automatically when the internal temperature exceeds 50°C (122°F) or when the load is more than halfway, providing over-temperature protection. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit.
  • Moisture: Keep the inverter away from water, rain, and excessive moisture.
  • Children: Keep the inverter out of reach of children.
  • Maintenance: Refer to the maintenance section for proper care. Do not attempt to open or service the inverter yourself, as it contains high voltage components.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up your XWJNE Power Inverter:

  1. Choose a Location: Select a dry, well-ventilated area for the inverter, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials.
  2. Connect Ground Wire: Attach the provided body ground wire to the designated grounding screw on the inverter and to a suitable ground point (e.g., vehicle chassis or earth ground).
  3. Connect Battery Cables:
    • Ensure the inverter is turned OFF.
    • Connect the red positive (+) battery cable to the positive (+) terminal on the inverter. Unscrew the terminal cap, insert the cable lug, and tighten securely.
    • Connect the black negative (-) battery cable to the negative (-) terminal on the inverter. Unscrew the terminal cap, insert the cable lug, and tighten securely.
    • Connect the other end of the red positive (+) battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of your 24V battery.
    • Connect the other end of the black negative (-) battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of your 24V battery.

Note: Ensure all connections are tight to prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance.

  4. Connect Remote Control (Optional): If desired, plug the remote control cable into the "Remote" port on the inverter. The remote control allows you to monitor input/output voltage, battery capacity, and turn the inverter on/off from a distance.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your XWJNE Power Inverter, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the inverter with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Fan Vents: Keep the cooling fan vents clear of dust and debris to ensure proper airflow. The dual cooling fans are crucial for preventing overheating.
  • Connections: Periodically check all electrical connections (battery cables, ground wire) to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Loose connections can lead to overheating and reduced performance.
  • Storage: If storing the inverter for an extended period, disconnect it from the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.
  • Fuse Replacement: If a fuse blows, replace it only with a fuse of the same type and rating as provided (spare fuses are included). Refer to the diagram for fuse location.
