4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle

Follow these steps carefully to safely jump start your vehicle:

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Turn off all vehicle appliances and switches (lights, radio, AC, etc.). Place the vehicle in park (automatic) or neutral (manual) and engage the parking brake.
  2. Connect Clamps: Connect the red (positive, +) clamp of the jump starter to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. Then, connect the black (negative, -) clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery. Do not connect the black clamp directly to the negative battery terminal unless specified by your vehicle manufacturer.
  3. Activate Jump Starter: Turn on the jump start system power switch on the ZunDian unit.
  4. Start Vehicle: Attempt to start your vehicle. If it doesn't start immediately, wait a few minutes before trying again. Do not crank the engine for more than 5 seconds at a time.
  5. Disconnect Clamps: Once the vehicle starts, turn off the jump start system power switch on the unit. Disconnect the black (negative) clamp first, then the red (positive) clamp. Ensure proper insulation and avoid touching the clamps together.
