This single-pole switch requires a neutral wire and separate load wires for the fan and light for proper installation. It does not feature Wi-Fi capability.
Compatibility
This switch is compatible with most ceiling fans that operate at 110-120V and draw up to 1A for the fan motor (3 speeds). For lighting, it supports a maximum load of 100W for dimmable LED/CFL bulbs or 200W for incandescent bulbs.
- Wiring Requirement: Requires a neutral wire and two separate load wires (one for the fan, one for the light). Please verify your existing wiring before purchase and installation.
- Switch Type: Designed for single-pole applications only. Not compatible with 3-way switch configurations.
- Fan Type: Not compatible with exhaust-type fans.

Setup and Installation
This switch is designed to replace an existing wall switch that independently controls both fan speed and light. Ensure your electrical box has a neutral wire and separate load wires for the fan and light.
Wiring Diagram
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, turn off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box to avoid electrical shock.
- Remove Old Switch: Carefully remove the existing wall plate and switch from the wall box. Disconnect the wires from the old switch, noting which wire connects to which terminal.
- Identify Wires: Identify the Live (Hot) wire, Neutral wire, Ground wire, Fan Load wire, and Light Load wire in your wall box.
- Connect Wires: Connect the wires from the Nexete switch to your house wiring using the provided wire nuts. Refer to the wiring diagram below:
- Red Wire (Switch) to Live (Hot) Wire (House)
- White Wire (Switch) to Neutral Wire (House)
- Black Wire (Switch) to Fan Load Wire (House)
- Blue Wire (Switch) to Light Load Wire (House)
- Green Wire (Switch) to Ground Wire (House)
- Mount Switch: Carefully push the wired switch into the wall box. Secure it with the provided mounting screws.
- Install Wall Plate: Attach the new wall plate (not included, typically standard decorator style) over the switch.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
Note: This switch does not require a hub or a canopy module for installation.

Control Layout
Fan Control
- Turn Fan ON/OFF: Press the Fan Control Button (top button with fan icon) once to turn the fan ON or OFF.
- Adjust Fan Speed: With the fan ON, press the '+' button to increase fan speed (Low, Medium, High). Press the '-' button to decrease fan speed. The indicator lights above the fan button will show the current speed setting.
Light Control
- Turn Light ON/OFF: Press the Light Control Button (bottom button with light bulb icon) once to turn the light ON or OFF.
- Adjust Light Brightness (Dimming): With the light ON, press and hold the '+' button to increase brightness (10%-100%). Press and hold the '-' button to decrease brightness.
Fan speed and light dimmer functions can be controlled independently.
