- TIME SET: Button to enter time setting mode.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
The REACHER R4 can be powered by the included AC adapter or by 3 AAA batteries (not included) for backup.
- Connect the provided 5 ft power cord to the DC 5V port on the back of the device.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.

5.2 Battery Backup Installation
For uninterrupted operation during power outages, install 3 AAA batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the device.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6. Operation
6.1 Setting the Time
- Press the TIME SET button. The hour digits will flash.
- Rotate the SNOOZE / SET / DIMMER dial to adjust the hour.
- Press TIME SET again. The minute digits will flash.
- Rotate the SNOOZE / SET / DIMMER dial to adjust the minutes.
- Press TIME SET a third time to confirm and exit time setting mode.
6.2 Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2)
The device features two independent alarms.

- Press the ALARM 1 SET or ALARM 2 SET button. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Rotate the SNOOZE / SET / DIMMER dial to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the respective ALARM SET button again. The alarm minute digits will flash.
- Rotate the SNOOZE / SET / DIMMER dial to adjust the alarm minutes.
- Press the respective ALARM SET button again. The alarm sound selection will be displayed.
- Rotate the SNOOZE / SET / DIMMER dial to select one of the 7 built-in alarm sounds (Flute, Bird, Cuckoo, Piano, Buzzer, Bell, Beep).
- Press the respective ALARM SET button a final time to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

6.3 Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button on the top panel to temporarily silence the alarm for 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes.

6.4 Using the Sound Machine
The device offers 12 soothing sounds to aid relaxation and sleep.

- Press the SOUND ON/OFF button to turn the sound machine on.
- Press the SOUND ON/OFF button repeatedly to cycle through the 12 available sounds: 3 white noises (white, brown, pink), 3 fan sounds, and 6 nature sounds (forest, lullaby, summer night, rain, thunderstorm, ocean wave).
- To turn off the sound machine, press and hold the SOUND ON/OFF button.

6.5 Adjusting Volume
The device offers 30 levels of volume adjustment for both alarms and sound machine.
- While a sound is playing (alarm or sound machine), press the Volume Up or Volume Down buttons on the top panel to adjust the volume level.
6.6 Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows the sound machine to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.
- With the sound machine playing, press the SLEEP TIMER button.
- Press the SLEEP TIMER button repeatedly to cycle through the available timer durations (e.g., 5, 15, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 minutes, or continuous play).
- The selected duration will be displayed briefly. The sound machine will turn off automatically after the set time.
6.7 Adjusting Display Brightness
The LED display brightness can be adjusted from 0% to 100%.

- Rotate the SNOOZE / SET / DIMMER dial when not in a setting mode to adjust the display brightness.
- Rotate clockwise to increase brightness, counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
7. Maintenance
Regular cleaning helps maintain the device's performance and appearance.
- Always unplug the device from the power source before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the device.
- Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
- Ensure no moisture enters the openings of the device.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your REACHER R4, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
