3. Setup and Installation
Important Safety Note: Always cut off power at the circuit breaker before beginning any electrical installation to prevent electric shock.
3.1 Receiver Installation
- Turn off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Connect Receiver:
- Connect the Black wire (Line) from the receiver to the incoming Live/Hot wire (usually black) from your power source.
- Connect the White wire (Neutral) from the receiver to the incoming Neutral wire (usually white) from your power source.
- Connect the Red wire (Load) from the receiver to the Live/Hot wire of your lamp or light fixture.
- Ensure the Neutral wire of your lamp/light fixture is connected to the incoming Neutral wire from your power source.
- Mount Receiver: The small receiver is designed to fit into standard electrical junction boxes, canopy, or switch boxes. Ensure it is securely placed and wires are not pinched.

5. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The wireless switch is powered by a 12V battery (23A type). When the switch's performance degrades or the indicator light no longer illuminates, it's time to replace the battery. To replace, carefully remove the switch from its mounting bracket and access the battery compartment on the back.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surfaces of the switch and receiver. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light/device does not respond to switch. | No power to receiver; Receiver not paired; Switch battery low/dead; Out of range. | Check circuit breaker and wiring connections. Re-pair the switch and receiver (see Section 3.3). Replace the switch battery. Ensure switch is within 100ft of receiver. |
| Light switch requires multiple presses to activate. | Weak signal due to distance or interference; Low battery in switch. | Try moving the switch closer to the receiver. Ensure no large metal objects are blocking the signal path. Replace the switch battery. |
| Receiver indicator light does not illuminate. | No power to receiver; Faulty receiver. | Verify power supply to the receiver and check wiring. If power is confirmed, the receiver may be faulty and require replacement. |
