3. Setup

  1. Placement: Place the ultrasonic cleaner on a stable, flat, and dry surface, ensuring adequate ventilation.
  2. Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is easily accessible and not obstructed.
  3. Fill Tank: Remove the detachable stainless steel tank from the base unit. Fill the tank with tap water. Do not fill above the 'MAX' fill line indicated inside the tank. For enhanced cleaning, a few drops of non-abrasive liquid detergent can be added to the water.
  4. Reassemble: Carefully place the filled tank back onto the base unit, ensuring it is properly seated and stable.
  5. Plug In: Connect the power adapter to the unit and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operation

  1. Prepare Items: Place the items to be cleaned into the cleaning basket. For watches, use the included watch stand to keep the watch face above the water level, submerging only the band if desired.
  2. Place Basket: Gently lower the basket with items into the water-filled tank. Ensure items are fully submerged but not overcrowded.
  3. Close Lid: Close the lid to reduce noise and prevent splashing during operation.
  4. Power On: Press the "ON/OFF" button on the digital touch control panel to turn on the unit.
  5. Select Cycle: The digital display will show a default cleaning time. Press the "TIME" button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 preset cleaning times: 90s, 180s, 280s, 380s, 480s.
  6. Degassing Function (Optional): For optimal cleaning and to prevent oxidation, press the "DEGAS" button before starting a cycle. This function removes air bubbles from the water, improving ultrasonic efficiency.
  7. Start Cleaning: The unit will automatically begin the cleaning cycle a few seconds after you select the desired time.
  8. End of Cycle: The unit will automatically turn off when the selected cleaning cycle is complete.
  9. Remove Items: Open the lid, carefully lift the basket, and rinse the cleaned items under running water. Dry them thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth.
  10. Empty Tank: Unplug the unit. Remove the detachable tank and pour out the dirty water.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ultrasonic cleaner.

  1. After Each Use:
    • Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
    • Remove the detachable tank and carefully pour out the dirty water.
    • Wipe the inside of the tank with a soft cloth to remove any residue.
    • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the base unit in water.
  2. Storage: Ensure the tank is completely dry before storing the unit. Store the ultrasonic cleaner in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  3. Cleaning Basket Note: The cleaning basket can absorb approximately 30% of the ultrasonic energy, which may reduce cleaning efficiency. For items that are not sensitive or easily scratched, cleaning directly in the tank (without the basket) may yield maximum cleaning results.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ultrasonic cleaner, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Unit does not turn on:
    • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and a functional electrical outlet.
    • Ensure the "ON/OFF" button has been pressed.
  • Poor cleaning results:
    • Ensure the water level is adequate and items are fully submerged.
    • Add a small amount of appropriate non-abrasive detergent for enhanced cleaning.
    • Try a longer cleaning cycle.
    • Use the degassing function to improve ultrasonic efficiency.
    • Avoid overcrowding items in the tank.
    • For heavily soiled items, multiple cycles or pre-soaking may be required.
    • Consider cleaning without the basket for non-sensitive items to maximize ultrasonic energy.
  • Unusual noise during operation:
    • A slight buzzing sound is normal during ultrasonic operation.
    • Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, flat surface.
    • Check that the detachable tank is properly seated in the base unit.
