Operating Instructions
Control Panel
The control panel features six burner knobs, an oven temperature knob, and indicator lights for convection fan and oven light. Each burner knob controls a specific burner on the cooktop.

Cooktop Burners
To ignite a burner, push in and turn the corresponding knob counter-clockwise to the 'HI' position. You will hear a clicking sound as the igniter sparks. Once the burner ignites, continue to hold the knob in for a few seconds, then adjust to the desired flame size. If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the knob to 'OFF' and wait 1 minute before trying again.

Oven Operation
To operate the oven, turn the oven temperature knob to the desired temperature setting. The oven will begin to preheat. An indicator light will typically illuminate during preheating and turn off once the set temperature is reached. The oven features two racks for flexible cooking.
Convection Oven
The convection fan can be activated for more even heat distribution, which is ideal for baking multiple items or roasting. Refer to specific recipes for convection cooking adjustments, as temperatures or cooking times may need to be reduced.
Broiler
The broiler is located in the lower drawer. To use the broiler, place food on the broiler pan and slide it into the broiler drawer. Turn the oven knob to the 'Broil' setting. Monitor food closely to prevent burning.
Using the Reversible Grill/Griddle
The KNG series may include a reversible grill/griddle accessory. This accessory can be placed over two burners on the cooktop. One side offers a ribbed grill surface, while the other provides a flat griddle surface. Ensure the accessory is properly seated on the grates before heating.

Maintenance and Cleaning
General Cleaning
Always allow the range to cool completely before cleaning. Use mild soap and water with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that can damage surfaces.
Cooktop Cleaning
Remove cast iron grates and burner caps for cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water. For stubborn stains on the porcelain cooktop, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for porcelain surfaces. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
Oven Cleaning
Wipe spills immediately after the oven cools. For deeper cleaning, use an oven cleaner according to the product instructions. Remove oven racks before cleaning the interior.
Replacing Oven Light
Ensure the oven is cool and disconnected from power. Remove the protective glass cover inside the oven. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new, heat-resistant oven bulb of the correct wattage. Reattach the glass cover.
