5. Installation Instructions

5.1. Before You Begin

  • Ensure your sink has a compatible single hole or a 3-hole configuration where the included deck plate can cover the unused holes.
  • The required pre-drilled hole size for installation is between 0.8 inches (min) and 1.8 inches (max).
  • The maximum counter top thickness for installation is 1.18 inches.
  • Gather necessary tools: adjustable wrench, plumber's putty or silicone sealant, screwdriver, and a flashlight.

5.2. Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare the Sink: Turn off the water supply to the sink. Clear the area under the sink. If replacing an old faucet, remove it and clean the mounting surface.
  2. Install Deck Plate (Optional): If your sink has three holes, place the 6-inch deck plate over the sink holes. Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the base of the deck plate to create a watertight seal.
  3. Mount the Faucet: Insert the faucet body through the center hole of the sink (and deck plate, if used). Ensure the faucet is properly oriented.
  4. Secure the Faucet: From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer, metal washer, and then the mounting nut onto the threaded shank of the faucet. Hand-tighten the mounting nut, then use an adjustable wrench to secure it firmly, ensuring the faucet is stable and straight.
  5. Connect Water Supply Hoses: Attach the hot and cold water supply hoses (23.6 inches) to the corresponding inlets on the bottom of the faucet. Connect the other ends of the hoses to your hot and cold water supply valves. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a quarter turn. Do not overtighten.
  6. Install Pop-Up Drain: Follow the instructions provided with the metal pop-up drain for installation into the sink drain opening. Ensure a watertight seal using plumber's putty or silicone sealant.
  7. Test for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks are detected, tighten the connections as needed.

6. Operating Instructions

Your KUZOR waterfall faucet features a single handle for easy control of water flow and temperature.

  • Water Flow: Lift the handle upwards to turn on the water. The further you lift, the greater the water flow. Push the handle downwards to turn off the water.
  • Temperature Control: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. Adjust the handle position between left and right to achieve your desired water temperature.
  • Waterfall Spout: The wide spout creates a gentle waterfall effect. Adjust the flow rate to prevent splashing, especially in smaller sinks.
  • Pop-Up Drain: The included metal pop-up drain can be opened and closed by pressing down on the drain stopper.
