6. Operation
After successful installation, ensure all components are securely fastened and the deck is properly leveled. Test the mower in a safe, open area at a low speed before resuming normal operation. Listen for any unusual noises or vibrations, which may indicate an issue with installation or a faulty component.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your spindle assembly will ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
- Lubrication: The Aeagle spindle assembly features a grease fitting (zerk). Periodically apply grease using a grease gun to ensure proper lubrication of the bearings. This helps reduce friction and wear.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the spindle for any signs of wear, damage, or looseness. Check for excessive play in the shaft or unusual noises during operation.
- Cleaning: Keep the area around the spindle free of grass clippings and debris, which can interfere with proper function and lead to premature wear.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues after installing the spindle assembly, consider the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Excessive Vibration | Loose mounting bolts, unbalanced blade, bent blade, damaged spindle bearings. | Check and tighten mounting bolts. Inspect blade for damage or balance issues. If bearings are damaged, replace the spindle. |
| Unusual Noise (Grinding, Squealing) | Lack of lubrication, worn bearings, debris in spindle. | Apply grease to the fitting. Inspect for debris. If noise persists, bearings may be worn and require spindle replacement. |
| Poor Cut Quality | Dull or bent blade, incorrect blade installation, deck not level, worn spindle. | Sharpen or replace blade. Ensure blade is installed correctly. Level the mower deck. Inspect spindle for excessive play. |
