6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and hygiene of your hot tub.

6.1 Water Chemistry

Maintain proper water chemistry using the included chlorine dispenser and regularly testing the water. Water test strips are recommended to monitor pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels.

6.2 Filter Cartridge Replacement

The filter cartridges should be cleaned regularly and replaced every few weeks, depending on usage, to ensure optimal water quality and pump performance. Replacement filters are readily available.

6.3 Spa Cover Care

Always use the fitted insulated cover when the spa is not in use. The cover helps retain heat and keeps debris out. Secure the cover with the safety locking clips to prevent unauthorized access and improve heat retention.

6.4 Draining and Storage

For long-term storage or during extreme cold weather (below 14°F / -10°C), drain the spa completely, clean it, and allow it to dry thoroughly before deflating and storing in a dry, protected area. The spa can be easily deflated and stored in its original bag.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Spa not heating: Ensure the heater function is activated on the control panel. Check that the water level is adequate and the filter is clean. Allow sufficient time for heating (up to 48+ hours for initial heating).
  • Bubbles not working: Verify the bubble function is activated. The system has a safety feature that pauses bubbles after 20 minutes; wait for the cool-down period before reactivating.
  • Water quality issues: Test water chemistry regularly. Adjust chlorine, pH, and alkalinity as needed. Clean or replace filter cartridges.
  • Error codes: Refer to the specific error code in the full user manual for detailed solutions.
