Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your YAOHUIMI replacement remote control. This remote is designed to be compatible with various Haier HSU series split type room air conditioners. Please refer to the 'Specifications' section for a list of compatible models.

Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
No programming is required for this replacement remote control. It is ready for use once batteries are installed.
Operating Instructions
Remote Control Buttons
- ON/OFF: Press to power the air conditioner on or off.
- TEMP ▲ / ▼: Use these buttons to adjust the desired temperature. The display shows temperature in Celsius only.
- FAN: Press to cycle through fan speed settings (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- SWING: Activates or deactivates the automatic louver swing function.
Digital Display Information
- Temperature: Displays the set temperature in Celsius (°C).
- Time: Shows the current time (AM/PM format).
- Mode Indicators: Icons may appear to indicate the current operating mode (e.g., cooling, fan, dry).
Maintenance
Cleaning the Remote Control
Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as these can damage the surface or internal components.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote control's range decreases or if the display becomes dim. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's receiver.
- Confirm you are within the effective operating range of the air conditioner.
- Temperature display is incorrect:
- This remote control displays temperature in Celsius only. Ensure you are accustomed to Celsius readings.
