3. Key Features

3.1 Removable Handle System

The Ingenio system features a unique removable handle, allowing for versatile use and compact storage. The handle securely attaches with a one-touch mechanism and has three fixing points for stability. It is designed to withstand up to 22 lbs (10 kg) of weight.

3.2 Titanium Force Non-Stick Coating

The cookware features an upgraded Titanium Force coating, designed to be twice as durable as conventional products. This coating ensures excellent non-stick performance and easy food release.

3.3 Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator

T-Fal's unique Thermo-Spot indicator turns solid red when the pan has reached the optimal temperature for cooking, ensuring perfect results and preventing overheating.

3.4 Butterfly Glass Lids and Seal Lids

The set includes Butterfly Glass Lids that fold flat for easy storage and allow you to monitor cooking progress. Additionally, Seal Lids are provided for convenient storage of leftovers directly in the cookware.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wash all cookware components (pans, lids, and handle) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as this may damage the non-stick coating.

4.2 Attaching and Detaching the Removable Handle

To attach the handle, align the handle's clips with the designated attachment points on the rim of the pan. Press the button on the handle firmly until you hear a click, indicating it is securely locked. To detach, press the release button on the handle and gently pull it away from the pan.

Important: The handle may feel stiff when new. Press the button strongly with both hands (do not hold the lever at the bottom of the handle) to ensure proper function during initial uses.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Compatible Heat Sources

This cookware set is compatible with the following heat sources:

Note: This cookware set is NOT compatible with induction cookers (IH).

5.2 Using the Thermo-Spot Indicator

Place the pan on your chosen heat source. The Thermo-Spot indicator in the center of the pan will change color. When it turns a solid red, the pan has reached the ideal cooking temperature, ensuring even cooking and optimal flavor development.

5.3 Oven Use

The pans (without the removable handle) are oven safe. This allows for seamless transfer from stovetop cooking to oven finishing. Always remove the handle before placing the pan in the oven.

6. Care and Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

The cookware (excluding the removable handle and seal lids) is dishwasher safe. For best results and to prolong the life of the non-stick coating, hand washing with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge is recommended. Ensure all food residues are removed.

The removable handle and seal lids should be hand washed only.

6.2 Storage

One of the primary benefits of the Ingenio system is its compact storage. After cleaning and drying, remove the handles and stack the pans and lids neatly to save cabinet space. The Butterfly Glass Lids are designed to fold flat for efficient stacking.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Stiff Removable Handle Button

If the button on the special handle feels stiff during initial use, press the button strongly with both hands. Ensure you are not holding the lever at the bottom of the handle while pressing the button. This will help loosen the mechanism for smoother operation.
