2. Safety Information

- Do not expose the camera to extreme temperatures outside its operating range (-20°C to 50°C / -4°F to 122°F).

5. Setup and Installation
This camera is designed for easy plug-and-play integration with compatible JouSecu PoE NVR systems (N2441, N2440, N2482).
5.1 Site Selection
Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within the range of your PoE NVR system. Consider areas that offer protection from direct impact or vandalism, while ensuring clear line of sight.

5.2 Mounting the Camera
- Prepare the Mounting Surface: Ensure the surface (wall or ceiling) is sturdy enough to support the camera.
- Mark Drill Holes: Use the camera's mounting base as a template to mark the positions for drilling.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked positions. Insert wall anchors if mounting on drywall or masonry.
- Secure the Camera: Attach the camera's mounting base to the surface using the provided screws.
- Adjust Angle: Loosen the adjustment screws on the camera body to set the desired viewing angle, then tighten them to secure the position.
5.3 Connecting to PoE NVR System
The JouSecu 5MP PoE camera utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified connectivity.
- Connect Ethernet Cable: Plug one end of a standard Ethernet cable (Cat5e or Cat6 recommended) into the PoE port on the camera.
- Connect to NVR: Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into an available PoE port on your compatible JouSecu NVR (Models: N2441, N2440, N2482).
- Power On NVR: Ensure your NVR system is powered on. The camera will receive power and data through the single Ethernet cable.
- Automatic Detection: The NVR system should automatically detect and configure the new camera. If the camera does not appear, refer to the troubleshooting section or the NVR's user manual.

6. Operating Instructions
Once connected to your JouSecu NVR, the camera's video feed will be accessible through the NVR's interface, connected monitor, or via the JouSecu mobile application/PC software.
6.1 Viewing Live Feed
- Via NVR Monitor: Connect a monitor to your NVR. The live feed from all connected cameras will be displayed.
- Via Mobile App: Download the official JouSecu app (refer to your NVR manual for app details). Add your NVR system to the app to view live feeds remotely.
- Via PC Software: Install the JouSecu PC client software (refer to your NVR manual). Add your NVR system to the software for desktop viewing and management.
6.2 Night Vision
The camera automatically switches to night vision mode in low-light conditions, utilizing its infrared LEDs to provide clear black-and-white images up to 60 feet.
