3. Setup: Butane Refilling

  3. Invert the torch and firmly press the butane canister nozzle into the gas filling valve.
  4. Hold for approximately 5-10 seconds until the torch is filled. A hissing sound indicates gas transfer.
  5. Allow the torch to rest for at least 2 minutes after refilling to allow the gas to stabilize.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to safely operate your FunOwlet Butane Torch:

  1. Turn On Gas: Rotate the gas flow regulator counter-clockwise to allow butane to flow.
  2. Ignite: Press the electronic ignition button. The flame should appear instantly.
  3. Adjust Flame: Continue rotating the gas flow regulator to adjust the flame intensity and size. The flame temperature can reach up to 1300 °C / 2372 °F.
  4. Continuous Flame Mode: While the torch is ignited, push the safety lock to the right (towards the 'CLOSE' position) to engage continuous flame. This allows hands-free operation.
  5. Turn Off: To extinguish the flame, push the safety lock back to the left (towards the 'OPEN' position) if in continuous mode, then rotate the gas flow regulator clockwise until the flame disappears.

5. Maintenance

  • Keep the torch clean and free from debris.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Ensure the gas is completely turned off and the safety lock is engaged before storing.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Torch not igniting: Check if there is enough butane fuel. Ensure the gas flow regulator is open.
  • Unstable flame: This may indicate low fuel or air in the tank. Refill the torch and allow it to rest for a few minutes.
  • Gas leaking: Ensure the butane canister is properly attached during refilling. If leaking persists, discontinue use and contact support.
