Control Panel Functions:

  • LED Display: Shows cooking time, power level, clock, and other indicators.
  • Time Cook: Used to set manual cooking time.
  • Time Defrost: Defrosts food based on time input.
  • Weight Defrost: Defrosts food based on weight input.
  • Power: Adjusts the cooking power level (10 levels available).

  • Express Cook (1-6 min): Quickly starts cooking for 1 to 6 minutes.
  • Start/+30 Sec.: Starts cooking or adds 30 seconds to the cooking time.
  • Stop/Cancel: Stops cooking or clears settings.
  • Memory: Stores frequently used custom settings.

Setup

Unpacking:

  • Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the microwave oven.
  • Check the oven for any damage, such as a misaligned or bent door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and latches, or dents inside the cavity or on the door. If any damage is present, do not operate the oven and contact customer service.
  • Place the turntable ring and glass tray securely inside the oven cavity.

Placement:

  • Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in the oven.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation. Allow at least 3 inches (7.5 cm) of space on the top, sides, and back of the oven for proper airflow. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Keep the microwave away from heat sources and strong magnetic fields.
  • Do not place the microwave in a cabinet unless specifically designed for built-in microwave installation with proper ventilation. This model is designed for countertop use.

Electrical Connection:

  • Plug the microwave oven into a properly installed and grounded 3-prong outlet.
  • Do not use an extension cord or adapter.
  • Ensure the voltage and frequency match the ratings on the appliance's label.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Clock:

  1. Press the "Clock" button.
  2. Use the number pad to enter the current time (e.g., 12:30 for 12:30 PM).
  3. Press the "Clock" button again to confirm.

Manual Cooking:

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
  2. Press the "Time Cook" button.
  3. Enter the desired cooking time using the number pad (e.g., 1:30 for 1 minute 30 seconds).
  4. Press the "Power" button, then use the number pad to select a power level (1-10, where 10 is 100% power).
  5. Press "Start/+30 Sec." to begin cooking.

One-Touch Cooking Programs:

Your microwave features 6 one-touch cooking programs for convenience:

  • Popcorn: For pre-packaged microwave popcorn.
  • Potato: For baking potatoes.
  • Pizza: For reheating pizza slices.
  • Frozen Vegetable: For cooking frozen vegetables.
  • Beverage: For heating drinks.
  • Dinner Plate: For reheating a dinner plate.

To use, simply place the food in the oven and press the corresponding one-touch program button. The oven will automatically set the time and power level.

Express Cook (1-6 minutes):

For quick heating, press any number from 1 to 6 on the number pad. The oven will start cooking immediately for that many minutes at 100% power.

Defrosting:

  • Time Defrost: Press "Time Defrost", enter the desired defrosting time, and press "Start/+30 Sec.".
  • Weight Defrost: Press "Weight Defrost", enter the weight of the food in ounces or grams using the number pad, and press "Start/+30 Sec.". The oven will calculate the defrosting time automatically.

Child Safety Lock:

  • To Activate: Press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button for 3 seconds. The display will show "LOCK" or a lock icon.
  • To Deactivate: Press and hold the "Stop/Cancel" button for 3 seconds again. The "LOCK" or lock icon will disappear.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Microwave Oven:

  • Always unplug the oven before cleaning.
  • Clean the inside of the oven regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.
  • The glass turntable and turntable ring can be washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.
