Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The system dimensions are approximately 24 x 69 x 2.5 cm (L x W x H).
2. Connecting Speakers
Connect the speaker cables from the left and right speakers to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) for optimal sound quality.
3. Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the AC IN socket on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet (AC 230V, 50Hz). The unit is designed for wired power connection.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press the POWER button on the front panel or the remote control to turn the unit on or off. The display will illuminate when the unit is powered on.
2. Source Selection
Press the SOURCE or FUNCTION button repeatedly on the front panel or remote control to cycle through available input sources: CD, Bluetooth, USB, AUX.
3. Volume Control
Rotate the VOLUME knob on the front panel clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume. Alternatively, use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the remote control.
4. Bluetooth Operation
- Select Bluetooth mode using the Source button. The display will show "BT" or "PAIRING".
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Search for available devices and select "Blaupunkt MS46BT" from the list.
- Once paired, the unit will confirm the connection, and you can start playing audio from your device.
5. USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front panel.
- Select USB mode using the Source button.
- The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3).
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, NEXT, and PREVIOUS buttons to control playback.
6. Auxiliary Input (AUX)
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
- Select AUX mode using the Source button.
- Audio from the connected device will now play through the system. Control playback from your external device.
7. CD Playback
- Gently insert an audio CD into the CD slot with the label side facing up. The unit will automatically draw in the disc.
- Select CD mode using the Source button.
- Playback should begin automatically. If not, press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
- Use the NEXT and PREVIOUS buttons to skip tracks.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. For stubborn stains, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth.
CD Player Care
Handle CDs by their edges to avoid fingerprints. Keep the CD tray clean and free of dust. Do not insert damaged or warped CDs into the player.
