About Your Eilik Robot

Eilik is an interactive robot designed to be a companion for both kids and adults. It features abundant emotions, idle animations, and interactive capabilities. Eilik does not require WiFi or Bluetooth connections for basic play.

Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage to your Eilik robot, please observe the following:

• Avoid rough play or wrestling with Eilik.
• Keep Eilik away from water and extreme temperatures.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify Eilik.
• Ensure charging is done under adult supervision.

Setup and First Use

Charging Eilik

Before first use, ensure Eilik is fully charged. Follow these steps:

1. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the port located on the bottom of Eilik and plug the other end into a USB power adapter or a computer's USB port.
2. Charge Eilik for approximately 1 hour for a full charge.
3. Once charged, disconnect the USB cable.

Powering On

Long press the power button to turn on Eilik. Eilik will greet you and be ready for interaction.

Operating Eilik

Interaction Points

Eilik responds to touch on specific areas: the head, belly, and back. Each touch triggers different emotions and reactions. Lifting Eilik will also elicit a response, as it does not like heights.

Emotions and Personality

Eilik exhibits a range of emotions and can develop different personality types (Cheerful, Irritable, Melancholic) based on your interactions. Consistent interaction patterns can influence its personality over time.

Troubleshooting

Eilik Not Turning On

If Eilik does not turn on, ensure it is fully charged. Connect the USB Type-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 1 hour.

Unresponsive Interactions

If Eilik is unresponsive to touches, check its current emotional state. Some personality types may react differently. Ensure the touch sensors (head, belly, back) are clean and unobstructed.

Unexpected Behavior

If Eilik exhibits unexpected behavior, try restarting the device by holding down the power button. If issues persist, check for available firmware updates.
