Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective cleaning:

  1. Power On: Plug the unit into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the power button located on the top of the unit to turn it on.
  2. Pre-treat (Optional): For tough stains, pre-treat the area by holding the cleaning tool just above the stain and pressing the spray trigger to apply cleaning solution. Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before proceeding.
  3. Spray and Scrub: Place the cleaning tool directly on the stained area. Press the spray trigger to release the cleaning solution while simultaneously scrubbing the stain with the brush bristles on the tool.
  4. Suction: Release the spray trigger and apply downward pressure on the cleaning tool. Slowly pull the tool across the stained area to suction up the dirty solution. Repeat this step until the stain is removed and no more dirty solution can be suctioned.
  5. Cleaning Different Surfaces:
    • Carpets: Use the 3" Tough Stain Tool for general carpet cleaning. For pet messes, the Stain Trapper Tool can be used to contain solid debris before it enters the machine's main dirty water tank.
    • Upholstery: The 3" Tough Stain Tool is effective for cleaning upholstery. Ensure the fabric is suitable for wet cleaning before use.
    • Car Interiors: The compact design and various tools make it easy to clean car seats and floor mats.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your cleaner.

  1. Empty Dirty Water Tank: After each use, or when the dirty water tank reaches the 'FULL' line, remove it from the unit. Unlatch the tank cover and pour out the dirty water. Rinse the tank with clean water.
  2. Clean Cleaning Tools: Remove the cleaning tool from the hose. Rinse the tool under running water to remove any debris. For the HydroRinse Self-Cleaning Hose Tool, attach it to the hose and place it on the designated holder on the unit. Turn on the machine and press the spray trigger for 10-15 seconds to flush the hose with clean water.
  3. Clean Stain Trapper Tool: If using the Stain Trapper Tool, detach the clear collection cup and empty any trapped debris. Rinse the cup and the tool thoroughly.
  4. Store Unit: Wrap the power cord around the cord wrap. Secure the hose by wrapping it around the unit and clipping the tool into the hose storage clip. Store the unit in a dry, indoor area.
