2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in fire, explosion, or carbon monoxide poisoning, which could cause property damage, personal injury, or death.

  • Keep away from flammable materials. Ensure adequate clearance from combustible surfaces.
  • Only use propane gas of the correct type. Refer to the specifications section for fuel type.
  • Store propane tanks in a well-ventilated outdoor area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Regularly check all gas connections and hoses for leaks using a soapy water solution. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten connections or replace parts as necessary.
  • If you smell gas, immediately turn off the propane tank valve. Do not attempt to light the fire pit. Ventilate the area and do not use the fire pit until the leak is located and fixed by a qualified technician.
  • Always supervise the fire pit while in use. Never leave a lit fire pit unattended.
  • Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the fire pit, especially when it is in operation or cooling down.
  • After use, turn off the flame control knob and the safety valve on the propane tank. Allow the fire pit to cool completely before covering or storing.
  • Do not use the fire pit in an enclosed space. This appliance is for outdoor use only.
  • Do not burn solid fuels (wood, paper, charcoal, etc.) in this propane fire pit.
