Setup

1. Charging the Headphones and Case

Before first use, fully charge the headphones and the charging case. The charging case provides additional battery life for your earbuds on the go.

• Place both earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are properly seated.
• Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
• The indicator lights on the case will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours for the case.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The headphones are ready to pair as soon as you take them out of their charging case. They will remember the last device they were paired with.

• Open the charging case and remove both earbuds. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
• On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
• Select "PHILIPS T1207" from the list of available devices.
• Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the indicator lights on the earbuds will change.

3. Finding the Right Fit

A secure and comfortable fit is crucial for optimal sound quality and to prevent the earbuds from falling out. The package includes three sizes of ear tips.

• Try each size of ear tip to find the one that creates a snug seal in your ear canal.
• Gently insert the earbud into your ear and twist slightly to ensure a secure fit.

Operating Your Headphones

Integrated Controls

The PHILIPS T1207 headphones feature integrated controls on the earbuds for easy management of your audio and calls.

• Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
• Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double tap on the left earbud.
• Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud.
• Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Triple tap on either earbud to access your smartphone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

Mono Mode

You can use either earbud independently in mono mode. This is useful for extending talk time or when you need to be aware of your surroundings.

• Simply place one earbud back into the charging case, and the other will continue to function.
• To switch back to stereo, take the other earbud out of the case.

Battery Life and Playtime

The PHILIPS T1207 offers impressive battery performance:

• Up to 6 hours of playtime on a single charge.
• The super-compact charging case provides an additional 12 hours of playtime, totaling up to 18 hours.
• A quick 15-minute charge can provide an extra hour of playtime.

IPX4 Water Resistance

The headphones are rigorously tested to meet an IPX4 rating, meaning they are resistant to splashes and sweat. This makes them suitable for workouts and outdoor activities, but they are not designed for submersion in water.
