4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

  2. Slide the battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.

4.2. Installing and Removing the Battery Pack

4.3. Installing and Removing Drill Bits

The drill features a 1/2-inch keyless ratcheting chuck for easy bit changes.

  1. Ensure the battery pack is removed from the drill before changing bits.
  2. Grasp the rear half of the chuck and rotate the front half counter-clockwise until the chuck jaws are open wide enough to insert the bit.
  3. Insert the drill bit fully into the chuck.
  4. Rotate the front half of the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. The ratcheting mechanism will click as it tightens.
  5. To remove a bit, reverse the tightening process.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off and Speed Control

The drill is activated by pressing the variable speed trigger. The speed increases as the trigger is pressed further.

  • Forward/Reverse Button: Located above the trigger, this button controls the direction of rotation. Push it left for forward (drilling) and right for reverse (removing screws). Center position locks the trigger.
  • 2-Speed Gearbox: A switch on top of the drill allows you to select between two speed ranges:
