  11. Install CR2032 Battery: Insert a CR2032 coin cell battery into the CMOS battery holder on the motherboard. This battery powers the real-time clock and stores BIOS settings.

5. Operating Instructions

After successful hardware installation, proceed with the following steps:

  1. Initial Boot: Connect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Power on your system. The system should display the BIOS/UEFI splash screen.
  2. BIOS/UEFI Setup: Press the designated key (usually DEL or F2) during startup to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup utility. Here you can configure boot order, system time, and other advanced settings.
  3. Operating System Installation: Install your preferred operating system (e.g., Windows 10) from a bootable USB drive or DVD.
  4. Driver Installation: After installing the operating system, install the necessary drivers for the motherboard components (chipset, audio, LAN, etc.). It is recommended to use a driver management tool like "Driver Talent" or rely on Windows 10's built-in driver support.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your motherboard:

  • Keep it Clean: Regularly clean dust from inside your computer case using compressed air. Dust accumulation can lead to overheating and component failure.
  • Proper Ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow within your computer case to prevent overheating.
  • Handle with Care: When handling the motherboard or other components, always use anti-static precautions to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.
  • BIOS Updates: Only update the BIOS if necessary and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Incorrect BIOS updates can render the motherboard inoperable.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

7.1. No Boot, No Display, Blue Screen, or No Power

  • Check Power Connections: Verify that the motherboard's 24-pin power supply and the CPU's 4-pin power supply are correctly and securely connected.
  • CPU and Memory Compatibility: Ensure the CPU model and memory modules are compatible with the motherboard and are installed correctly in their respective slots.
  • Memory Module Position: Confirm that memory modules are seated properly. Try reseating them or testing with one module at a time.
  • Clear CMOS: If the issue persists after checking the above, clear the CMOS. This can often resolve boot-related problems caused by incorrect BIOS settings.

7.2. No Display (Fan Working, Keyboard Caps Lock Light Off)

  • Power Connections: Re-check motherboard and CPU power connections.
  • Memory Check: Verify memory module installation and compatibility.
  • CPU Check: Confirm CPU compatibility and proper seating.
  • Clear CMOS: If no display after these checks, clear the CMOS.

7.3. No Display (Fan Working, Keyboard Caps Lock Light On)

  • Monitor Power and Cable: Ensure the monitor is powered on and the display data cable (HDMI/VGA) is securely connected to the correct port.
  • Integrated Graphics: If no external graphics card is installed, confirm that your CPU supports integrated graphics.
  • External Graphics Card: If an external graphics card is installed, ensure the display data cable is connected to the graphics card's output, not the motherboard's. Verify the graphics card is properly seated and powered.
  • Component Condition: Check the display data cable, graphics card, and monitor for any signs of damage or malfunction.
  • Clear CMOS: If the problem persists, clear the CMOS.
