1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the QYMOTO Hisun LED Headlight Bulb (BA20D). This LED bulb is designed for various UTV, ATV, and motorcycle applications, offering enhanced illumination with high and low beam functionality.

2. Safety Information

Read all safety instructions before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electrical shock, injury, or damage to the product or vehicle.

• Ensure the vehicle's power is off and the battery is disconnected before attempting installation.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and eye protection.
• Do not touch the LED chips directly during or immediately after operation, as they can be hot.
• This product is designed for 10-100V DC/AC systems. Verify your vehicle's voltage compatibility.
• If you are unsure about the installation process, consult a qualified technician.

3. Installation

The Hisun LED Headlight Bulb is designed for straightforward replacement of standard BA20D bulbs.

1. Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is turned off and the ignition key is removed. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent accidental electrical shorts.
2. Access the Headlight Assembly: Locate the headlight assembly on your UTV, ATV, or motorcycle. Depending on your vehicle model, you may need to remove covers or panels to access the rear of the headlight.
3. Remove the Old Bulb: Carefully disconnect the wiring harness from the existing headlight bulb. Unclip or twist the old BA20D bulb to remove it from its socket.
4. Install the LED Bulb: Insert the new QYMOTO Hisun LED Headlight Bulb into the BA20D socket. Ensure it is seated firmly and correctly. The bulb is non-polar, meaning it can be inserted in either orientation for DC/AC systems.

5. Connect Wiring: Reconnect the vehicle's wiring harness to the new LED bulb.
6. Test Functionality: Reconnect the vehicle battery. Turn on the ignition and test both the high and low beam functions of the new LED headlight.
7. Secure Assembly: Reinstall any covers or panels removed during the process.

Compatibility: This bulb is compatible with Hisun UTV/ATV models 400, 450, 500, 700, 800, 1000; Massimo MSU400, MSU500, MSU700, MSU800; Axis 500, Axis 700, and other vehicles utilizing a standard BA20D lamp base.

4. Operating Instructions

The QYMOTO Hisun LED Headlight Bulb features both high and low beam functions, controlled by your vehicle's standard headlight switch.

• Low Beam: Provides a focused light pattern for general driving, minimizing glare for oncoming traffic. The bulb utilizes 3 luminous faces for the low beam.

• High Beam: Provides maximum illumination for increased visibility in dark conditions or off-road environments. The bulb utilizes 2 luminous faces for the high beam.

5. Maintenance

The QYMOTO Hisun LED Headlight Bulb is designed for durability and minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: Periodically clean the headlight lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal light output. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Inspection: Regularly inspect the bulb and wiring for any signs of damage or loose connections.
• Heat Dissipation: Ensure the area around the bulb's aluminum heat sink is clear of debris to allow for proper cooling.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your LED headlight bulb, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Bulb Not Lighting Up:
  • Check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
  • Verify the vehicle's battery voltage and ensure it is within the 10-100V operating range.
  • Inspect the vehicle's headlight fuse.
  • Ensure the bulb is correctly seated in the BA20D socket.
• Flickering or Intermittent Light:
  • Check for loose connections in the wiring harness or at the bulb socket.
  • Ensure the vehicle's electrical system is stable and not experiencing voltage fluctuations.
• One Beam Not Working (High or Low):
  • This specific bulb design has separate luminous faces for high and low beams. If one beam fails, it may indicate an internal component issue. Contact support if troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue.
