Installation Instructions

  1. Prepare the Installation Area: Turn off power at the circuit breaker. Locate the desired installation spot on the ceiling.
  2. Cut the Ceiling Hole: Using a hole saw, cut a circular opening in the ceiling. The recommended hole size for this 4-3/4" downlight is typically 4 inches, but refer to the product packaging or a template if provided for exact dimensions.

  4. Connect Wiring: Open the remote driver box. Connect the house wiring (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the driver box using appropriate wire connectors (provided in the spare part package). Ensure all connections are secure.
  5. Select Color Temperature (CCT): Before closing the driver box, select your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) using the switch located on the side of the remote driver box.

  7. Secure Driver Box: Close the remote driver box and place it into the ceiling cavity. The remote driver design eliminates the need for a separate housing.
  8. Install Downlight Fixture: Connect the downlight fixture to the remote driver cable. Push the spring clips on the sides of the downlight upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling hole. Release the clips to secure the fixture flush against the ceiling.

  10. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

  • Turning On/Off: Use your wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
  • Dimming: If a compatible dimmer switch (sold separately) is installed, you can adjust the light brightness by operating the dimmer control. This fixture is designed to be dimmable.
  • Color Temperature: The color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) is set during installation via a switch on the remote driver. This setting cannot be changed without accessing the driver box.
