6. Operating Instructions
The YIHUA 3010D-III allows for precise adjustment of output voltage and current.
6.1 Adjusting Voltage and Current
- Voltage Adjustment: Turn the VOLTAGE knob to set the desired output voltage. The 4-digit display will show the current voltage setting.
- Current Adjustment: Turn the CURRENT knob to set the desired current limit. This acts as a maximum current the device will supply. The 4-digit display will show the current limit setting.
- Constant Voltage (C.V.) / Constant Current (C.C.) Mode: The C.V. indicator illuminates when the power supply is operating in constant voltage mode (output voltage is stable). The C.C. indicator illuminates when the power supply is operating in constant current mode (output current is stable, typically when the load resistance is too low for the set voltage).
- Connecting Load: After setting voltage and current limits, connect your device or circuit to the output terminals.

8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No power/Display off | Power cord disconnected, power switch off, faulty outlet. | Check power cord connection, ensure power switch is ON, test outlet with another device. |
| No output voltage/current | Output terminals not connected, voltage/current set to zero, protection activated. | Verify connections, adjust voltage/current knobs, check for short circuits or overload. |
| C.C. indicator is on | Output current has reached the set limit, or a short circuit is present. | Increase current limit if appropriate for the load, or check for a short circuit in the connected device. |
| Unit overheats | Blocked ventilation, excessive load. | Ensure vents are clear, reduce load, operate in a well-ventilated area. |
