Important Safety Information

Setup

1. Unpack the kettle and all accessories. Remove any packaging materials.
2. Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
3. Ensure the power cord is fully extended and not tangled.
4. Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX fill line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the interior.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your electric kettle:

1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark. The kettle can boil up to 7 cups of water.
2. Place on Base: Place the kettle securely onto the power base.
3. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The touch-activated display will illuminate.
4. Select Temperature:
   • Touch the desired preset temperature button on the display:
     • White Tea: 165°F (74°C)
     • Green Tea: 175°F (79°C)
     • Oolong/Coffee: 195°F (91°C)
     • Black Tea/Boil: 212°F (100°C)
   • Alternatively, use the + and - buttons to adjust the temperature to your specific preference.
5. Start Boiling: Press the power button (⏻) to begin the heating process. The display will show the current water temperature as it heats.
6. Audible Indicator: The kettle will beep when the water has reached the selected temperature.
7. Keep Warm Function: Press the "Warm" button to activate the 60-minute Keep Warm mode, which maintains the water temperature.
8. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base and pour the hot water.
9. Auto Shut-Off: The kettle features an automatic shut-off function once the water reaches the set temperature or if it boils dry, enhancing safety.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your kettle.

• Cleaning:
  • Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • The interior can be cleaned by hand. Do not immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
• Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
  • To descale, fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water.
  • Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
  • Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  • For stubborn deposits, a non-abrasive descaling solution designed for kettles can be used following the product's instructions.
• Storage: When not in use, store the kettle in a clean, dry place. You can wrap the cord around the base for neat storage.
