4. Setup

4.1. Hard Drive Installation

The TS-233-US supports two 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s HDDs or SSDs. Follow these steps to install your drives:

  1. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Gigabit Ethernet port on the back of the NAS.
  2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your router or network switch.
  3. Connect the AC adapter to the power input port on the back of the NAS, then plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  4. Press the power button on the front of the NAS to turn it on.

4.3. Initial Configuration
