Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Charge

  • Carefully remove the Sonitrek Go XL speaker and its accessories from the packaging.
  • Included components: Speaker, USB-C power cable, User manual.
  • Before first use, fully charge the speaker using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the speaker's charging port and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer port. The charging indicator lights will show the charging status.

2. Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the Power button (Power button icon) for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible tone and the indicator light illuminates.
  • To power off: Press and hold the Power button again for approximately 2-3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Sonitrek Go XL" from the list of found devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

2. Basic Controls

  • Volume Up: Press the '+' button.
  • Volume Down: Press the '-' button.
  • Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button (Play/Pause button icon).
  • Skip Track Forward: Press and hold the '+' button.
  • Skip Track Backward: Press and hold the '-' button.

3. Dual Speaker Pairing (True Wireless Stereo)

The Sonitrek Go XL supports connecting two speakers for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both Sonitrek Go XL speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the Dual Pairing button (Dual Pairing button icon). The indicator light will flash.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation tone when pairing is successful.
  4. Once paired, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 1.

4. Waterproof Feature

The Sonitrek Go XL is fully waterproof with an IPX7 rating, making it suitable for use near water. However, it is not designed for prolonged submersion. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Water Exposure: After exposure to water, ensure the speaker is completely dry before opening the charging port or connecting any cables.

Troubleshooting
