4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the scanner. Connect the USB charging/data cable to the scanner and then to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2 Connecting via 2.4Ghz Wireless

  1. Insert the 2.4Ghz USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  2. The computer will automatically install the necessary drivers (Plug and Play).
  3. Turn on the barcode scanner. It will automatically connect to the dongle.
  4. A blue LED indicator on the scanner will confirm a successful wireless connection.

4.3 Connecting via USB Cable

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Scanning Barcodes

To scan a barcode, aim the scanner's red light at the center of the barcode and press the trigger. A successful scan will typically be indicated by a beep and/or a green light.

5.2 Decode Capabilities

The scanner supports a wide range of 1D and 2D barcode types:

  • 1D Barcodes: Code 11, Code 93, MSI, Codabar, Code 128, EAN-128, Code 39, EAN-8, EAN-13, UPC-A, ISBN, Industrial 25, Interleaved 25, Standard 25.
  • 2D Barcodes: QR Code, Micro QR, PDF-417, Micro PDF417, Aztec Code, Maxi Code, Data Matrix, Han Xin Code.

5.3 Scanning Modes

The scanner offers three primary scanning modes:

  • Instant Upload Mode: Barcodes are transmitted to your computer immediately after scanning.
  • Storage Mode: The scanner can store up to 20,000 barcodes internally. This is useful when the scanner is out of range of the receiver. Scanned data can be uploaded later by scanning a specific setting code (refer to the physical manual for this code).
  • Automatic Scanning Modes:
    • Continuous Scan: The scanner continuously emits a scanning beam.
    • Induction Scan: The scanner activates the scanning beam when a barcode is detected in its field of view.

5.4 Scanning from Screens
