1. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons. Read all instructions carefully before using the GREECHO FS01 Electric Fondue Pot Set.

  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the heating base, cord, or plug in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Important Note: Fondue ingredients (Chocolate, Cheese, or Broth) should be prepared on the stovetop for first use of the stainless steel fondue pot. Do not overfill the fondue pot to avoid spillage or damage (maximum liquid quantity of 1.5L).
  • It is recommended to preheat the heating plate for 2-5 minutes, depending on the fondue type, before placing the pot.

3. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to set up your GREECHO Electric Fondue Pot Set for first use:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the stainless steel fondue pot, splatter guard, and fondue forks with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water.
  3. Assemble: Place the heating base on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Ensure the power cord is not obstructing walkways.
  4. Place the clean fondue pot onto the heating base. Ensure it is seated securely within the 2mm fence on the base.
  5. Place the splatter guard onto the rim of the fondue pot.
  6. Insert the power plug into a standard electrical outlet. The appliance is now ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

The GREECHO FS01 offers three preset modes for optimal fondue preparation. Always ensure the fondue pot is securely placed on the heating base before operation.

  1. Power On: Press the power button (U) on the heating base to turn on the appliance.
  2. Select Mode: Choose your desired fondue mode by pressing the corresponding button: Chocolate, Cheese, or Broth. The selected mode indicator will illuminate.
  3. Preheat: Allow the heating plate to preheat for 2-5 minutes before adding ingredients to the pot. This ensures efficient heating.
  4. Add Ingredients: For best results, pre-melt cheese or chocolate on a stovetop in the fondue pot before transferring it to the electric base. For broth, add liquid and desired ingredients directly. Ensure the liquid level does not exceed the 1.5L maximum fill line.
  5. Temperature Adjustment: While in a preset mode, you can fine-tune the temperature using the + and - buttons. The digital display will show the current temperature setting.
  6. Serving: Use the color-coded fondue forks to dip food items into the fondue. The splatter guard helps prevent splashes and keeps forks organized.

Sous Vide Functionality:

The precise digital temperature control allows the GREECHO FS01 to be used for sous vide cooking. Place your vacuum-sealed food item into the fondue pot filled with water, select a mode that aligns with your desired temperature range, and adjust as needed. Monitor the temperature for consistent results.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your fondue pot set.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Detachable Pot: The stainless steel fondue pot, splatter guard, and fondue forks are dishwasher-safe. For handwashing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots.
  3. Heating Base: Wipe the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid. Ensure no liquid enters the control panel or electrical components.
  4. Stubborn Residue: For stubborn food residue in the pot, fill it with warm water and a small amount of dish soap, let it soak for a few minutes, then clean with a non-abrasive brush or sponge.
  5. Storage: Store the clean and dry fondue pot set in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting
