5.2 Step-by-Step Installation
Follow these steps carefully for a secure installation.
- Attach TV Brackets to TV:
Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface. Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the brackets are centered and securely fastened to the VESA mounting holes on your TV.

- Mount Wall Plate to Wall:
Determine the desired height for your TV. Use a stud finder to locate the center of two adjacent wood studs (12-16 inches apart). Mark the drill holes for the wall plate. For concrete or brick walls, mark the drill holes directly. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Use the included bubble level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal before tightening all bolts.
- Hang TV on Wall Plate:
With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets and hook them onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV brackets are securely seated on the wall plate. Engage the safety screw locks at the bottom of the TV brackets to prevent accidental dislodging.
6. Operation and Adjustments
Your USX MOUNT Full Motion TV Wall Mount allows for various adjustments to achieve an optimal viewing experience.
- Extension and Retraction: The mount can extend up to 15.2 inches (386mm) from the wall and retract back to 2.8 inches (71mm). Gently pull or push the TV to adjust the distance.
- Tilt Adjustment: The TV can be tilted +5° upwards and -15° downwards to reduce glare or optimize viewing angles. Loosen the tilt adjustment knobs, set the desired angle, and re-tighten.
- Swivel Adjustment: Swivel the TV +/- 45° left or right to direct the screen towards different seating areas.
- Level Adjustment: If the TV appears slightly unlevel after installation, use the +/- 4° post-installation leveling feature to fine-tune its horizontal position. This is typically done by adjusting screws on the TV brackets.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Periodic Inspection: Annually check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Lubrication: Moving parts are designed for smooth operation. If any stiffness occurs, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to pivot points, avoiding contact with the TV.
8. Troubleshooting
- TV is not level: Use the post-installation level adjustment feature (+/- 4°) as described in Section 6. Ensure the wall plate was installed level initially.
- Mount feels loose: Re-check all mounting bolts on the wall plate and TV brackets. Ensure they are securely tightened. Verify the wall type is appropriate for installation.
- Difficulty moving the TV: Check for any obstructions. Ensure all adjustment knobs (e.g., tilt) are loosened before attempting to move the TV. If stiffness persists, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the articulating joints.
- Missing parts: Refer to Section 3, "Package Contents." Contact USX MOUNT customer support for assistance.
