3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the thermal monocular using the provided Type-C data cable and power adapter. The device is equipped with a 5000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery.

3.2 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually indicated by a power symbol) for a few seconds to turn the device on or off. The display will illuminate upon activation.

3.3 Initial Focus Adjustment

Adjust the eyepiece observation knob to achieve a clear image. This is crucial for sharp visuals and optimal performance. If the image appears blurry, rotate the diopter adjustment knob until the display is sharp.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls

The device features four function buttons for one-handed control. Refer to the device's on-screen interface for specific button assignments and menu navigation.

4.2 Color Palettes

The monocular offers multiple color palettes to adapt to different environments and user preferences. These include:

• Black Hot: Hot objects appear black.
• White Hot: Hot objects appear white.
• Red Hot: Hot objects appear red.
• False Color / Iron Hot: Displays a spectrum of colors based on temperature differences.

4.3 Digital Zoom

The device supports 1-4 times high-definition digital night vision monocular zoom. Use the designated buttons to adjust the zoom level as needed for closer observation.

4.4 Target Tracking

The thermal sensor includes a highest temperature target tracking function, which can highlight the hottest point in the field of view. This is useful for quickly identifying subjects.

4.5 Photo and Video Functions

The monocular supports photo and video recording. Consult the on-screen menu for instructions on how to capture and save media. The device has 32GB of internal storage.

4.6 Mobile App Connectivity

The GOYOJO C10 can connect to your smartphone via Wi-Fi for real-time image transmission and remote operation. Download the "IR-Tracker V" app, available for Android and iOS devices. The default Wi-Fi password is 12345678.

5. Maintenance and Care

• Avoid Direct Sunlight/Lasers: Never aim the thermal imager at the sun or laser-emitting devices, as this can cause permanent damage to the sensor.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the lens and body of the monocular. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Storage: Store the device in its protective pouch in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Environmental Limitations: While thermal imaging excels at heat detection, it cannot penetrate walls or detect underwater objects due to heat isolation properties.

6. Troubleshooting

• Blurry Image: If the image is blurry, adjust the diopter adjustment knob. Also, ensure the contrast and sharpness settings are optimized in the device menu.
• Device Clicking Noise: A clicking sound is normal and indicates the device is performing non-uniformity correction (NUC) to maintain image quality.
• Cannot Connect to Phone App:
  1. Ensure the "IR-Tracker V" app is correctly installed on your Android or iOS device.
  2. Verify Wi-Fi is enabled on the monocular and your phone.
  3. Confirm the Wi-Fi password is 12345678.
  4. Restart both the monocular and your phone, then attempt to reconnect.
• "Stream Open Error" in App: This error may occur when trying to import footage. Ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection. If the issue persists, try recording directly through the app or connecting the device to a computer via the Type-C cable to transfer files.
• Battery Draining Quickly: Ensure the device is fully charged. Reduce screen brightness or disable Wi-Fi when not needed to conserve battery life.
