4.2. Handheld Microphones

The system includes two metal handheld microphones. Each microphone operates on its own channel and requires AA batteries for power. They are designed for comfortable handling and clear vocal reproduction.

5. Setup

  1. Receiver Placement: Place the receiver in a stable location, away from potential sources of interference (e.g., large metal objects, other wireless devices). Ensure adequate ventilation.
  2. Antenna Connection: Screw the four antennas securely into their respective connectors on the rear panel of the receiver. Position them vertically for optimal reception.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the supplied AC-DC power adapter to the DC 12V input on the receiver's rear panel, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  4. Audio Output Connection:
    • For individual microphone outputs, connect XLR cables from the "BALANCED A" and "BALANCED B" outputs to your mixer or amplifier.
    • For a combined output, use the supplied 1/4" audio cable to connect the "MIX OUT" port to your mixer or amplifier.
  5. Microphone Battery Installation: Unscrew the bottom part of each handheld microphone. Insert two AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Screw the bottom part back on securely.
  6. Power On: Turn on the receiver using the power button. The LCD display should illuminate. Turn on each microphone by pressing its power button.
  7. Frequency Synchronization: The system features automatic transmitter setup. The receiver and microphones should synchronize automatically. If manual adjustment is needed, refer to the operating instructions for channel selection.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Volume Adjustment: Use the individual volume control knobs on the receiver's front panel to adjust the output level for each microphone (Channel 1 and Channel 2).
  2. Channel Selection (Manual): The system offers 100 selectable frequencies per channel. If interference occurs, you can manually change the frequency on the receiver and then synchronize the microphone. Consult the receiver's display and buttons for specific channel change procedures.
  3. Monitoring: Observe the RF (Radio Frequency) and AF (Audio Frequency) level indicators on the receiver's LCD display. A stable RF signal indicates good wireless connection, while AF indicates audio presence.
  4. Microphone Usage: Hold the microphone approximately 2-6 inches (5-15 cm) from your mouth for optimal sound quality. Avoid covering the microphone grille with your hand.
  5. Power Off: After use, turn off both microphones and then the receiver. Disconnect the power adapter.
