4. Setup
4.1 Mounting the Device
The DriveLink screen can be mounted on your dashboard or windshield using the provided suction cup mount. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
- Attach the screen to the suction cup mount by aligning the slots and pressing firmly until it clicks into place.
- Position the mount on your desired surface (dashboard or windshield), ensuring it does not obstruct your view or vehicle controls.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the surface and engage the locking lever to secure it.
- Adjust the screen angle for optimal viewing.

4.2 Power Connection
Connect the provided power cable to the DC input port on the side of the screen and plug the other end into your vehicle's 12V accessory (cigarette lighter) port. The device will power on automatically or can be turned on/off using the button on the power adapter.

5.1 Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
The DriveLink screen supports both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration.

5.1.1 Connecting to Apple CarPlay (Wireless)
- On the DriveLink screen, select 'Apple CarPlay'.
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and search for available devices.
- Select the device named 'DriveLink-BT-XXXX' (XXXX will be a unique identifier) and pair your iPhone.
- Confirm the pairing request on both devices.
- Once paired, Apple CarPlay will launch automatically on the DriveLink screen.
5.1.2 Connecting to Android Auto (Wireless)
- On the DriveLink screen, select 'Android Auto'.
- On your Android phone, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and search for available devices.
- Select the device named 'DriveLink-BT-XXXX' and pair your phone.
- Confirm the pairing request on both devices.
- Android Auto will launch automatically on the DriveLink screen.

5.2 MirrorLink / AutoLink (Screen Mirroring)
The device supports screen mirroring for both iOS (iOSMirror) and Android (AutoLink) devices, allowing you to display your phone's screen directly on the DriveLink unit.
- From the main menu, select 'i-Play' for iOS or 'A-Link' for Android.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your smartphone via Wi-Fi or USB for screen mirroring.

5.3 FM Transmitter
To transmit audio from the DriveLink screen to your car's stereo system wirelessly, use the FM Transmitter function.
- Select 'FM Transmitter' from the main menu.
- Choose an unused FM frequency on the DriveLink screen.
- Tune your car's FM radio to the same frequency.
- Audio from the DriveLink screen will now play through your car's speakers.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning

- Cannot connect to Apple CarPlay/Android Auto: Verify that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone. Ensure the correct device is selected for pairing. Restart both the DriveLink screen and your smartphone.
- Poor audio quality via FM Transmitter: Try different FM frequencies to find one with less interference. Ensure the volume on both the DriveLink screen and your car stereo is adjusted appropriately. Connecting via AUX cable may provide better sound quality.
- Touchscreen unresponsive: Power cycle the device. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
