4.2 Installing the Sensor and Magnet
- Attach the wireless sensor to the front fork of your bicycle using zip ties. Position it on the side where the magnet will be installed.
- Attach the magnet to a spoke on the front wheel.
- Adjust the position of the sensor and magnet so that the distance between them is approximately 3mm or less when the wheel rotates. The closer the better for reliable signal transmission.
- Ensure the magnet faces the sensing area of the sensor (usually marked). Do not align the magnet with the middle of the sensor.

4.3 Initial Settings
After installation, you will need to configure the speedometer:
- Wheel Circumference (WHEEL CIR) Setting: Refer to your bicycle tire's sidewall for the circumference (e.g., 2070mm for a 700x23C tire). Enter this value into the speedometer for accurate speed and distance readings.
- Unit Setting (Km/H, M/H): Select your preferred unit of speed and distance (kilometers per hour or miles per hour).
- Clock Setting (CLK): Set the current time in either 12H or 24H format.
5. Operating Instructions
The speedometer features two main buttons, typically labeled 'S' (Set/Select) and 'M' (Mode/Menu), for navigation and function selection.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the speedometer unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the display or casing.
6.2 Waterproofing
The device has an IP54 international protection rating, meaning it is protected from dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. While it can withstand rain, avoid submerging the unit in water.
6.3 Battery Replacement
The speedometer unit and sensor typically use CR2032 coin cell batteries. When the low power indicator appears, replace the battery:
- Carefully open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit or sensor.
- Remove the old battery.
- Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely to maintain waterproofing.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Speed Reading or Inaccurate Readings:
- Check the distance between the sensor and the magnet. It should be 3mm or less.
- Ensure the magnet is correctly aligned with the sensing area of the sensor.
- Verify that the wireless induction distance between the main unit and the sensor is less than 60cm.
- Check the battery in both the speedometer unit and the sensor. Replace if low.
- Ensure the wheel circumference setting is correct.
- Display is Blank or Faint:
- Replace the battery in the speedometer unit.
- Check for proper battery insertion.
- Unit Does Not Wake Up Automatically:
- Ensure the sensor and magnet are correctly installed and aligned.
- Check the sensor battery.
- Buttons Not Responding:
- Try removing and reinserting the battery to perform a soft reset.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the buttons.
