5. Setup Instructions

5.1 Charging the Collar

Before first use, fully charge the collar. Connect the provided USB cable to the Micro Charging Port (6) on the collar and to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The LED 1 light will illuminate red during charging and turn green when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 2-3 hours and provides up to 7 days of regular use.

5.2 Filling the Citronella Spray

Locate the Gas Refill Port (3) on the collar unit. Insert the nozzle of your citronella spray can (purchased separately) into this port and press firmly to fill. Ensure the collar is off during this process.

5.3 Attaching and Fitting the Collar

Select one of the provided nylon straps and attach it to the collar unit. Place the collar around your dog's neck, ensuring the Spray Nozzle (4) is positioned towards the dog's nose. The collar should fit snugly, allowing one finger to fit comfortably under the strap. This ensures proper contact for bark detection and spray delivery without causing discomfort.

For long-haired dogs, trim the neck hairs along the path of the spray to ensure effective delivery.
Do not use this collar on aggressive dogs, dogs with long noses, or dogs with impaired sense of smell.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

To turn the collar on, press and hold the Power button (1) for 3 seconds. To turn it off, repeat the same action.

6.2 Adjusting Spray Volume

The collar offers two spray volume settings: Small and Large.

Small Spray Volume: Short press the Adjust button (2) (within 1 second). LED 2 will flash yellow.

6.3 Adjusting Sensitivity

The collar has two sensitivity settings for bark detection: Low and High.

Low Sensitivity: Long press the Adjust button (2) for 3 seconds. LED 1 and LED 2 will simultaneously flash once.
High Sensitivity: Long press the Adjust button (2) for 3 seconds. LED 1 and LED 2 will simultaneously flash twice.

Choose the sensitivity level appropriate for your dog's barking habits and environment.

6.4 Testing the Spray Function

Before placing the collar on your dog, you can test the spray function. With the collar powered on, say "Woof" loudly towards the Audio Sensor (5) to simulate a dog's bark. Observe if the collar releases a spray.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the collar unit with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

7.2 Water Resistance

The collar features a waterproof design, allowing it to withstand splashes or light rain. However, it is not designed for submersion. Always remove the collar before your dog bathes or swims to prevent damage.

Recharge the collar when the LED 1 light indicates low voltage (continuously glitters). Regular charging helps maintain battery health. Avoid prolonged storage with a completely depleted battery.
