5. Operating Instructions

After successful installation, your OEMIRY Faucet Filtration System is ready for use. The system allows for easy switching between unfiltered tap water and purified water:

  • To obtain purified water, twist the switch on your faucet filtration system to the designated filter setting.
  • To obtain unfiltered tap water, twist the switch to the bypass setting.

This functionality allows you to conserve filter life by only using purified water when needed for drinking or cooking.

6. Maintenance

Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining optimal water quality and system performance.

  • Replacement Schedule: It is recommended to change the filter cartridge every 3 months or after filtering 320 gallons of water, whichever comes first.
  • Factors Affecting Life: The actual lifespan of the filter may vary depending on the quality of your municipal tap water and your household's water consumption.
  • Indicators for Replacement: A noticeable decrease in water flow rate or a change in water taste/odor may indicate that the filter needs to be replaced sooner.

7. Troubleshooting

Issue: Water still contains Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) after filtration.

  • Explanation: The OEMIRY OM-WF01 / OM-WF02 faucet filtration system is designed to add beneficial minerals to the water, which contributes to the TDS value. Therefore, this system will not significantly reduce the overall TDS level.
  • Solution: If your primary goal is to physically remove TDS from your water, this faucet filter is not the appropriate solution. For TDS reduction, consider an OEMIRY Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, such as model OM-ROF03 or B0DNDV2JKF.
