5. Installation Guide

Before beginning installation, ensure your grill is completely cool and disconnected from its gas supply. It is recommended to wear protective gloves.

5.1. Removing Old Components

1. Open the grill lid and remove the cooking grates and warming rack.
2. Carefully lift out the old heat plates (flame tamers).
3. Disconnect the old burner tubes from the gas manifold and remove them. Note the position of any igniters and crossover tubes.
4. Remove any old crossover tubes and igniters.

5.2. Installing New Components

Follow these steps to install the new grill parts. Refer to the video demonstration for visual guidance.

1. Install Burner Tubes: Carefully slide each new burner tube into its designated slot, ensuring the gas inlet end connects securely to the gas manifold. (Refer to video timestamp 0:07)
2. Attach Ignitions: Connect the igniter electrodes to the corresponding burner tubes. Ensure a snug fit for reliable ignition. (Refer to video timestamp 0:14)
3. Place Crossover Tubes: Position the adjustable crossover tubes between the burner tubes. These tubes facilitate flame transfer between burners. Secure them with the provided wave clips. (Refer to video timestamp 0:22)
4. Install Heat Plates: Place the heat plates over the burner tubes. Ensure they rest securely on the grill's internal supports. (Refer to video timestamp 0:29)
5. Replace the cooking grates and warming rack.
6. Reconnect the gas supply and perform a leak test before first use.

6. Operating Instructions

Once all replacement parts are securely installed and the gas supply is reconnected, your grill should operate as before. Always follow your grill's original manufacturer operating instructions for safe and efficient use.

• Ensure the grill lid is open when lighting.
• Turn the gas supply on at the tank.
• Turn the control knob of the desired burner to the "HIGH" position and press the igniter button.
• If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the control knob off, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the lighting procedure.
• Adjust heat as needed using the control knobs.
