Operating Instructions

Starting a Detox Session:

  1. Power On: Turn on the main unit using the power switch. The color display will illuminate.
  2. Add Salt/Baking Soda: Add a very small amount (e.g., 1/16 teaspoon) of non-iodized salt or baking soda to the water in the foot basin. This helps improve water conductivity. Note: Excessive salt can cause rust and damage the array.
  3. Immerse Feet: Place both feet into the foot basin, ensuring they are fully submerged and the ion array is also submerged.
  4. Select Mode: Press the "Mode" button to cycle through the 8 available detox modes. Each mode offers a different ion pattern. Observe the display for the selected mode.
  5. Set Time: Use the "Time +" and "Time -" buttons to adjust the session duration. The default is often 30 minutes, but you can set it from 10 to 60 minutes.
  6. Adjust Detox Grade (if applicable): Some models may have a "Detox Grade" button to adjust intensity. Refer to your display for options.
  7. Activate Heated Waist Belt (Optional): If connected, use the dedicated "Far Infrared Belt" controls to turn it on and adjust its heat level (Low, Medium, High).
  8. Start Session: Press the "ON/OFF" button (or a dedicated "Start" button if present) to begin the detox session. The display will show the remaining time and other relevant data.
  9. Monitor Progress: During the session, observe the water color change and the values on the display. This is a normal part of the process.
  10. Session End: The machine will automatically stop when the set time expires. You may hear an audible alert.
  11. Power Off: Remove your feet from the basin, unplug the ion array, and turn off the main unit.

Maintenance and Care

  • Clean Ion Array: After each use, thoroughly rinse the ion array with clean water. If residue builds up, gently scrub with a brush (e.g., an old toothbrush) and mild soap. Ensure all rust or mineral deposits are removed.
  • Dry Components: Ensure all components, especially the ion array and foot basin, are completely dry before storing to prevent mold or corrosion.
  • Clean Main Unit: Wipe the main control unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  • Storage: Store the machine and its accessories in the provided aluminum carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Array Lifespan: The ion array is a consumable part and will degrade over time. Replace the array when you notice a significant decrease in performance or excessive rust formation even after cleaning.
