5. Operating Instructions

Use the Safety Cage ladder according to these guidelines:

1. Ascending: Face the ladder and maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand) at all times while climbing. Use the rungs, not the side rails, for climbing.
2. Working on Platform: Once on the platform, ensure you are centered and balanced. The enclosed design allows for hands-free work. Do not lean excessively outside the enclosure.
3. Descending: Face the ladder and maintain three points of contact. Listen and feel for the Ground Cue® 'click' as you reach the bottom rung, indicating you are safely at ground level.
4. Moving the Ladder: For short distances, with the caster wheels unlocked, you can roll the ladder while deployed. For longer distances or transport, fold the ladder and use the Tip & Glide™ wheels.
