Setup

Charging the Lantern

1. Locate the USB-C input port on the side of the lantern, usually protected by a rubber cover.
2. Open the rubber cover.
3. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the input port and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
4. The battery indicator lights will illuminate to show the charging progress. A full charge typically takes 3 hours.
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber cover to maintain water resistance.

Using as a Power Bank

1. Ensure the lantern is sufficiently charged.
2. Locate the USB-A output port, usually next to the USB-C input, and open its rubber cover.
3. Connect your device's charging cable (USB-A end) to the lantern's USB-A output port.
4. Connect the other end of your device's charging cable to your smartphone or other electronic device.
5. The lantern will begin charging your device.
6. After charging, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber cover.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off and Changing Light Modes

1. To turn on the lantern, press the power button located on the front of the unit. It will typically start in High brightness mode.
2. Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 lighting modes: High → Medium → Low → Red On → Red Strobe.
3. To turn off the lantern directly from any mode, press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds. Alternatively, if the lantern has been in a single mode for more than 8 seconds, a single press of the power button will turn it off.

Using Collapsible Hooks

1. The lantern features two hidden hooks integrated into the top and bottom sections.
2. Gently pull out the desired hook from its recessed position.
3. Use the hook to hang the lantern from a tent loop, backpack, tree branch, or any suitable fixture for overhead lighting.
4. When not in use, push the hooks back into their recessed positions for a compact and streamlined design.

Maintenance

• Clean the lantern with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Store the lantern in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• For optimal battery life, fully charge the lantern every 3-6 months, even if not in regular use.
• Ensure the USB port cover is always sealed when not actively charging or being used as a power bank to prevent dust and water ingress.

Troubleshooting

• Lantern not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and check the battery indicator lights.
• Device not charging from lantern: Verify the lantern has sufficient charge. Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the lantern's USB-A output and your device.
• Light modes not changing: Press the power button firmly and quickly to cycle through modes. If stuck, try turning off and on again.
