2. Setup
2.1 Power Supply
The Casio HR-300RC operates using an AC adapter (included). Connect the AC adapter to the calculator's power input jack and then to a standard electrical outlet. This calculator does not support battery power for operation.
2.2 Paper Roll Installation
- Open the paper roll cover located at the top rear of the calculator.
- Insert a new paper roll (58mm wide thermal paper) into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll.
- Pull approximately 1-2 inches of paper out past the cutting edge.
- Close the paper roll cover securely.
2.3 Ink Roller Installation/Replacement
- Ensure the calculator is turned off and unplugged.
- Gently lift the printer cover.
- If replacing, remove the old ink roller by pulling it upwards.
- Insert the new ink roller, ensuring it clicks into place. Avoid touching the ink ribbon directly.
- Close the printer cover.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Operations
- Power ON/OFF: Press the ON/CA button to turn on the calculator. Press OFF to turn it off.
- Number Entry: Use the numeric keypad (0-9, 00).
- Decimal Point: Use the . key.
- Addition (+), Subtraction (-), Multiplication (×), Division (÷): Use the respective operation keys.
- Equals (=): Press the = key to display the result of a calculation.
- Clear Entry (CE): Clears the last entered number.
- All Clear (AC): Clears all entries and resets the calculator.
