Thank you for purchasing the Alpina Booster Heater and Fan. This device is designed to provide both heating and cooling functions for your indoor spaces, offering comfort throughout the year. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and efficient operation. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater includes a safety switch that automatically turns off the device if it falls over.
- The heater is equipped with overheat protection. If the internal temperature exceeds a safe limit, the heater will automatically shut off.

5. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater to allow for proper airflow and to prevent fire hazards. Do not place it near curtains, furniture, or other combustible materials.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a standard 220-240V ~ 50-60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Remote Control Battery: If the remote control requires a battery, insert a CR2025 battery, ensuring correct polarity.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Control Panel and Remote Control
The heater can be operated using the touch controls on the device's top panel or via the included remote control. The control panel features an LED display and touch-sensitive buttons for various functions.

6.2. Power On/Off
- Press the Power button (symbol: circle with vertical line) on the control panel or remote control to turn the device on or off.
- When turning off after heating, the fan may continue to run for a short period (approx. 30 seconds) to cool down the ceramic element. This is normal.
6.3. Mode Selection
Press the Mode button (symbol: wavy lines or fan icon) to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Ventilation Only: The device functions as a fan, distributing cool air without heating.
- Power Level 1 (1300W): Provides heating at a lower power setting.
- Power Level 2 (2000W): Provides heating at a higher power setting for faster room heating.

6.4. Temperature Adjustment
When in a heating mode (Power Level 1 or 2), you can adjust the desired temperature:
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel or remote control to set the temperature between 15°C and 35°C.
- The device will automatically turn off heating once the set temperature is reached and reactivate if the room temperature drops.
6.5. Timer Function
The timer allows you to set the device to operate for a specific duration:
- Press the Timer button (symbol: clock) on the control panel or remote control.
- Each press will increase the operating time by 1 hour, up to a maximum of 12 hours.
- The device will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.
6.6. Oscillation Function
To activate or deactivate the oscillation feature:
- Press the Oscillation button (symbol: arrows forming a circle) on the control panel or remote control.
- The heater will oscillate up to 90 degrees to distribute air evenly across the room.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your device.
7.1. Cleaning
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
- Never immerse the heater in water or any other liquid.
7.2. Storage
- If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it thoroughly as described above.
- Store the heater in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
