3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Prepare the Mounting Surface

- Remove the base and drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The diameter of the pilot holes should be appropriate for the 1/4-inch lag screws provided.

- Insert the 1/4-inch diameter galvanized/stainless lag screws with washers through the holes in the base plate and into the pilot holes.
- Tighten all screws securely using an appropriate tool. Ensure the base plate is firmly attached to the surface and does not wobble.
3.4 Attach the Umbrella Pole
- Align the bottom of your PURPLE LEAF cantilever umbrella pole with the central mounting points on the secured steel plate base.
- Use the screws provided with your umbrella (or suitable alternatives if not included) to attach the umbrella pole to the base plate. The screw design around the base ensures stability.
- Ensure all connections are tight and the umbrella pole is stable before extending the umbrella.
