5. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your camera.
- Cleaning the Camera Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the camera body. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution specifically designed for electronics.
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a lens brush or blower to remove dust. For smudges, use a lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth. Avoid touching the lens surface with your fingers.
- Sensor Cleaning: The camera has an anti-dust system. If dust spots appear on images, consult a professional service center for sensor cleaning. Avoid attempting to clean the sensor yourself unless you are experienced.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not expose them to extreme temperatures. Charge batteries fully before use and avoid completely draining them regularly.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the camera in a dry, dust-free environment, preferably with a desiccant to prevent mold and mildew.
