Important Safety Instructions

- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Always use the handle when moving this heater.
- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.

- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater includes an Overheat Safety Protection feature that automatically shuts off the unit if it overheats.
- The heater is equipped with a Tip-Over Safety Switch which automatically turns off the unit if it is accidentally knocked over.

Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage if desired.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater to allow for proper airflow and to prevent fire hazards. Do not place it on soft surfaces like carpets or rugs that might block the air intake.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a standard 220-240V, 50Hz electrical wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
Operating Instructions
The Alpina HP-12AR features a user-friendly control panel on the top of the unit.

1. Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn the heater on or off. The LED display will illuminate when the unit is on.
2. Temperature Adjustment
The heater allows you to set your desired temperature between 15°C and 35°C.
- Press the TEMP SET button.
- Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the target temperature. The LED display will show the selected temperature.
- The heater will automatically adjust its operation to maintain the set temperature.
3. Mode Selection (Heat/Cool)
The Alpina HP-12AR offers both heating and cooling functions with two power levels for heating.


- Press the MODE button to cycle through the available modes:
- Cool Air: Provides a refreshing breeze.
- Heat (600W): Low heat setting for gentle warmth.
- Heat (1200W): High heat setting for faster warming.
4. Timer Function
Set the heater to operate for a specific duration from 1 to 9 hours.
- With the heater on, press the TIMER button.
- Each press will increase the timer setting by 1 hour, up to a maximum of 9 hours.
- The LED display will show the remaining time. The heater will automatically turn off once the timer expires.
- To cancel the timer, cycle through the hours until "00" is displayed, or turn the unit off.
5. Oscillation Function
Activate the oscillation feature to distribute air more widely across the room.
- Press the SWING button to activate or deactivate the oscillation function.
- The heater will rotate from side to side, covering a wider area.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.
Cleaning
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust from the air intake and outlet grilles.
- Never immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
Storage
