Operating Instructions
Wireless Network Usage
- Dual Band Operation: The router supports simultaneous dual-band operation at 2.4 GHz (up to 300 Mbps) and 5 GHz (up to 867 Mbps). Connect devices to the appropriate band for optimal performance. The 5 GHz band offers higher speeds but shorter range, while 2.4 GHz offers wider coverage at lower speeds.
- Connecting Devices: Connect smartphones, tablets, computers, NAS devices, Smart TVs, and gaming consoles to your Wi-Fi network using the SSID and password.
- Antenna Adjustment: Adjust the four external antennas to optimize Wi-Fi signal strength and coverage in your desired areas.
- Beamforming Technology: The router utilizes Beamforming for extended Wi-Fi coverage and improved reliability by directing signals towards connected devices.

Advanced Features
- USB 2.0 Port: Use the USB 2.0 port for sharing multimedia files (photos, music, videos) across your network or connecting a USB printer for network printing.
- Guest Network: Create an isolated Wi-Fi network for guests to provide internet access without compromising your main network security.
- Network User Management: Manage network access, prioritize bandwidth, and block/allow specific devices through the router's interface.
- Wi-Fi On/Off Scheduler: Control your Wi-Fi availability by setting schedules for when the Wi-Fi network is active.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the router's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for firmware updates. Keeping your router's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features. Follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer for any update process.
- Proper Ventilation: Ensure the router is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not cover the ventilation holes.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions
- No Internet Connection:
- Check all cable connections (WAN, LAN, power). Ensure they are securely plugged in.
- Restart your modem and router. Unplug both devices, wait 30 seconds, then plug in the modem first. Once the modem is fully online, plug in the router.
- Verify that your modem is working correctly by connecting a computer directly to it (if possible).
- Check the WAN indicator light on the router. If it's off or red, there might be an issue with the internet connection from your service provider or modem.
- Slow Wi-Fi Speed or Intermittent Connection:
- Ensure the router is centrally located and away from obstructions or interference sources (e.g., microwaves, cordless phones).
- Adjust the router's antennas.
- Try connecting to the 5 GHz band for higher speeds if your device supports it and is close to the router.
- Reduce the number of connected devices or bandwidth-intensive activities.
- Check for firmware updates.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi Network:
- Ensure the Wi-Fi function on your router is enabled (check indicator lights).
- Verify you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password (SSID and password are case-sensitive).
- If using the "Connect & Secure" (WPS) button, ensure your device supports WPS and follow the specific pairing instructions.
Factory Reset
If you encounter persistent issues or forget your login credentials, you can perform a factory reset. This will revert all settings to their default values.
- With the router powered on, locate the small "Reset" button on the back panel (often recessed).
- Use a paperclip or a thin object to press and hold the Reset button for approximately 10 seconds.
- Release the button when the router's indicator lights flash or change behavior.
- The router will restart with factory default settings. You will need to reconfigure it as per the "Initial Configuration" steps.
