The Intellitronix LED Digital Gauge Panel DP1805B is a modern replacement for the original instrument cluster in 1970-1976 Dodge Duster and Dart vehicles. This panel provides clear, digital readouts for various vehicle parameters, enhancing visibility and accuracy. It includes a speedometer, tachometer, water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge, voltmeter, and fuel level gauge, along with integrated turn signal and high beam indicators.

The system comes complete with direct-fit printed circuit boards, a custom-fit "smoked" plexiglass faceplate, and necessary sending units for temperature, oil pressure, and speedometer. It is designed for vehicles without electronic transmission or cruise control, with provisions for electronic cruise control senders.

Note: The original vehicle bezel is NOT included and is required for installation.

Setup and Installation

Installation of the Intellitronix LED Digital Gauge Panel requires basic automotive electrical and mechanical knowledge. Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with these procedures.

Pre-Installation Steps:

  1. Disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent electrical shorts.
  2. Carefully remove the existing instrument cluster from the dashboard. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific removal procedures.
  3. Remove the original gauges and wiring from the existing bezel.

Panel Installation:

  1. Mount the Intellitronix LED Digital Gauge Panel circuit board into your original vehicle bezel. Ensure a secure fit.
  2. Attach the "smoked" plexiglass faceplate over the digital displays.
  3. Connect the provided wiring harness to the appropriate connections on the circuit board.

Carefully connect the wiring harness from the gauge panel to the vehicle's electrical system. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram included with your product for specific connections, including power, ground, illumination, turn signals, and high beam indicators.

  1. Connect the main power wire to a switched 12V source.
  2. Connect the ground wire to a reliable chassis ground point.
  3. Connect the illumination wire to the vehicle's dash light circuit for dimming functionality.
  4. Connect the turn signal and high beam indicator wires to their respective vehicle circuits.

Post-Installation:

  1. Once all connections are made, carefully re-install the assembled gauge panel into the dashboard opening.
  2. Reconnect the vehicle's battery.
  3. Test all functions of the gauge panel before fully securing the dashboard trim.

Upon vehicle ignition, the digital displays will illuminate, showing real-time data for each parameter. The brightness of the display can typically be adjusted via the vehicle's dimmer switch, if connected to the illumination circuit.
