Wet Vacuuming Precautions:

4. Setup
4.1 Attaching the Hose and Accessories
- Locate the hose port on the vacuum unit.
- Insert the flexible hose into the port and twist clockwise until securely locked.
- Attach the desired accessory (crevice tool, utility nozzle, or power tool adapter) to the end of the hose. Ensure a snug fit.
4.2 Installing/Removing the Battery Pack
- To install, align the battery pack with the battery port on the vacuum. Slide the battery pack into the vacuum until it latches securely.
- To remove, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out of the vacuum.
Note: Ensure the battery pack is fully charged before first use. Refer to your Milwaukee M18 battery and charger manuals for charging instructions.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the HEPA filter is properly installed.
- Insert a charged M18 battery pack.
- Press the power button to turn on the vacuum. The vacuum has two power levels; press the button again to switch between them.
- Direct the hose and attached accessory towards the debris to be vacuumed.
- When finished, press the power button to turn off the vacuum.
5.2 Wet Vacuuming
- Remove the HEPA filter before wet vacuuming. A foam filter (sold separately) is recommended for wet applications.
- Insert a charged M18 battery pack.
- Press the power button to turn on the vacuum.
- Direct the hose and attached accessory towards the liquid to be vacuumed.
- The vacuum will automatically shut off when the liquid reaches a certain level due to the internal float mechanism.
- When finished, press the power button to turn off the vacuum. Empty the tank immediately after wet vacuuming.
5.3 Blower Function
The vacuum can also function as a blower. To use this feature, attach the hose to the exhaust port of the vacuum. This allows for clearing debris from work surfaces or tight spaces.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum. Always disconnect the battery pack before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Emptying the Tank
- Unlatch the clips securing the motor head to the tank.
- Carefully lift the motor head off the tank.
- Dispose of dry debris or liquid contents appropriately.
- Clean the inside of the tank with a damp cloth if necessary.
- Replace the motor head and secure the clips.
6.2 Filter Cleaning and Replacement
The HEPA filter is designed for dry vacuuming. For wet vacuuming, remove the HEPA filter and consider using a foam filter (sold separately).
- Remove the motor head as described above.
- Twist and pull the HEPA filter to remove it from its housing.
- Gently tap the filter to dislodge loose dust. For deeper cleaning, rinse with water and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation.
- Replace the filter if it is damaged or excessively dirty. Use only genuine Milwaukee replacement filters.
6.3 General Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the vacuum with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspect the hose and accessories for blockages or damage. Clear any obstructions.
